Special Announcement To All You Artists Out There:
Today, J Rice released that he is going to be holding a competition with the grand prize of $1,000 and studio equipment. He has not released any other details but he said "It will be open to singers, dancers, rappers, filmmakers, producers, and musicians of any instrument." So if you have any musical talent you should really give it a go. He released it on his Facebook page,  and he only has 15,000 fans so odds are pretty good. The 21st of Diciembre

Starting now I'm going to try to divide my suggestions into two categories. The way it's divided is basically the stuff I get off Hip Hop / R&B sites and the unknown (usually unsigned) youtube artists who are pretty brilliant. Let me know what you think!

    • I found this guy because Julia Sheer put it up on her Facebook page, and he's good. And everyone, remember to keep your head up because if things are looking down they clearly ain't over and you'll miss the good stuff if you're lookin down.

Today, I decided to add genre as a part of the song description since it helps you narrow down which songs you may like. And to anyone who views this for the first time today, I swear it's not all hip hop that was just the stand out for today.

      • I feel like it's mildly catchy, and some people may like it even though it's not exactly my taste. I feel like if he had a quality female singer backing him up instead of whatever that weird voice is it would be a much better song.

      • This song is basically amazing, and it's great to see a musician put himself into his music so much (check the lyrics). It's been out a while, and it's finally started getting big this past week so I figured I'd post it even though it's late and I've had it for a few weeks already.

      • This song is from 2007, so yeah it's not exactly modern music but this is one of my favorite songs of all time so I'm obligated to put it up. Hope y'all enjoy it too.
